I spend some large amount of work on the issue list and resolved some long existing bugs and feature requests. Qwired now feels much more stable on all platforms.
The only thing that is left to be done are file transfers. This is what I'll be working on next, so that we finally have a good replacement for KDX.
In the meantime be sure to download a latest nightly build from the nightly build server and report issues and feature requests on the Google Code project page.

Hi! Nice to se another Client available! I'll try Qwired out as quick as possible!
AntwortenLöschenWe have been working on another multi platform client for a while. We call it SharpWired and the blog is at: http://sharpwired.wordpress.com/
The nightly build server page seems empty. Where can I get the latest .exe build to try out?
AntwortenLöscheni am curious to use the wired 2 protocol, but my friends use qwired to connect to my current wired 1 server. are there plans at all for wired 2 and qwired?
AntwortenLöschenNightly builds should be back.
AntwortenLöschenQwired will not support the Wired 2.0 protocol, as that requires major refactoring. The 1.x protocol is good enough for now and Qwired uses special extensions to the protocol to provide similar features like log viewing, multi-category news lists and such.
